An innovator in advanced practicenursing, James started his first company,  Quality Anesthesia Associates in 2005.  His idea to create a staffing agency to help his fellow CRNA's earn 1099 income in a stable and consistent way was one of the first of it's kind and has grown immensely over the years. His creation of QMM is the result of necessity for the same stability and consistency for entire anesthesia departments. 

As Chief Operating Officer, Michael Reens works in collaboration with the executive team to oversee clinical operations, business operations and administrative functions at Quality Medical Management. Michael Reens attended Excela Health School of Anesthesia where he received his Masters in Health Sciences. He further went on to graduate from Rutgers University obtaining his DNP degree. Michael has held numerous leadership roles throughout his tenure as a CRNA including Chief CRNA, Regional Director, and Vice President of Clinical Operations at several national anesthesia management companies. His expertise in business development has helped to build QMM from the ground up by working in collaboration with corporate management teams, hospital administration, and medical directors. Michael’s expertise in business development includes contract acquisitions, RFP responses, and C-Suite communication.  Michael works with facilities to determine strategic goals, development of action plans utilizing Lean methodologies, Studet group team building, and HCAHPS performance strategies. Together with the executive team, Michael budgets and develops new service lines to increase profitability and ensures implementation of plans. Michael is fundamental in the interface with sites to approve pertinent reports to monitor performance, efficiency and profitability.  Michael promotes a culture of accountability, service excellence, leadership and compassion.
